You will function as a project manager infrastructure in very large IT-environments. The infrastructure projects are often optimizations in state-of-the-art datacenters in multinational environments. As project manager infrastructure you manage different resources with different technical capabilities (SAN/Wintel/UNIX/
) which work in virtual teams. Projects vary in scope and subject :
- The consolidation of existing server-infrastructure
- Migration of servers, networks and data centers
You will deliver projects within time and budget, using PRINCE2 or PMBOK derived methodologies. You will be very much in contact with business representatives, infrastructure teams and a steering committee and management in general to report progress on your project. You have experience as system engineer, or as project manager in an infrastructure context in a number of domains.
