Mission Overview:
As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be engaged in a consultancy mission at a client site representing Keystone Solutions. Your role will be pivotal in defining, implementing, and maintaining the data governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the execution of the client's data strategy.
Main Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements related to the management and protection of critical data.

Collaborate closely with the DPO, CISO, Enterprise Architecture, Document Management Office, and relevant business and IT teams to define and implement necessary governance measures.

Phase 1: Governance and identification of critical data.
-
Inventory, map, and classify critical data along with their flows and dependencies.
-
Define policies, standards, and procedures for data management.
-
Phase 2: Data protection.
-
Define protection requirements for critical data based on their classification level.
-
Ensure the implementation of security, backup, and restoration measures.
-
Phase 3: Access management.
-
Define and enforce access rules to data based on business needs and the principle of least privilege.

Ensure control and review of access to critical data.
-
Phase 4: Awareness and adoption.
-
Train and raise awareness among employees about best practices in data management and protection.
-
Support the adoption of data governance and change management initiatives.
-
Deploy data governance principles in business and Data initiatives.
-
Collaborate with business teams and the Data & Analytics department to integrate best governance practices into the Data roadmap projects.

Assist the Data Governance Officer in ensuring data quality, discoverability, accessibility, and documentation.

Define and maintain governance roles, responsibilities, and processes.

Ensure mastery of reference data (MDM), data lineage, and data modeling.

Contribute to the selection, deployment, and adoption of data governance tools.
Profile Requirements:

Significant experience in data governance and data quality (5+ years).
-
Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).

Strong documentation and presentation skills.
-
In-depth understanding of data methodologies and technologies to collaborate effectively with Data Management and IT teams.

Practical experience with data governance and metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Ovaledge, etc.).

Aptitude for quick learning and autonomy.
-
Ability to establish an internal network to align various stakeholders, with negotiation skills.

Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex methodologies in simple terms, and strong change management knowledge.

Excellent leadership skills to successfully carry out these various tasks.

Fluency in French and/or Dutch; proficiency in English is a plus.
Nice to Have:

Knowledge of NIS2 regulation.

Knowledge of standards and regulations (ISO/IEC 38505, ISO 8000, GDPR, etc.).

Knowledge of data modeling (UML).

Knowledge of data flow modeling (Archimate).

Professional experience in regulated sectors (finance, health, public sector).
