Day to Day
Indeed is seeking a Manager of Government Relations to oversee our government engagement and market engagement strategy in Brussels. Building on a solid foundation of global policy leadership and proven commercial impact, this role will drive Indeed’s engagement with European policymakers and market partners, to advance AI innovation, data trust, workforce of the future, and technology adoption that unlocks opportunity for job seekers and employers alike.
Responsibilities
- Manage Indeed’s engagement with European policymakers, agencies, and associations on issues related to workforce, technology, AI governance, and the digital economy.
- Represent Indeed in meetings, briefings, and coalitions to advance responsible innovation and policy frameworks that support equitable hiring and data-enabled workforce outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers across executive agencies, congressional offices, and relevant public-sector entities.
- Position Indeed as a trusted voice in national policy discussions on hiring, workforce development, labor market data and insights, and responsible AI development and deployment.
- Work closely with Legal, Product, Marketing, and Communications teams to translate policy developments into actionable strategies for product design, compliance, and messaging.
- Partner with Indeed’s Hiring Lab and Public Sector teams to support data-driven policy engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
- Provide regular policy intelligence and briefings to senior leadership to inform strategic planning and revenue initiatives.
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years experience.
- Experience in government relations, public policy, legislative affairs, government work, or a related field
- Solid working knowledge of government structures, legislative and regulatory processes
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with public officials and government partners
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to distill complex issues for varied audiences
- Experience managing multiple priorities and projects across different geographies
- Proactive and collaborative, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
Salary Range Transparency
Tier 2 - Belgium 88,000 - 132,000 EUR per year
