About the Internship
During this internship, you will become part of our vibrant Food Beverage team and gain first-hand experience in the daily operations of a modern international hotel. You’ll discover what it takes to deliver an outstanding guest experience—from welcoming guests with genuine warmth to ensuring impeccable service throughout their stay.
By immersing yourself in Marriott’s culture and operations, you’ll develop valuable skills that will prepare you for future opportunities in the hospitality industry.
What will you do?
- Welcome and seat guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and excellent first impression.
- Take and process food beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve dishes and drinks in accordance with Marriott standards.
- Assist in setting up, maintaining, and clearing tables before and after service.
- Support the team in mise-en-place, including preparing service stations and restocking supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness, order, and hygiene in the restaurant and service areas.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and the kitchen team to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Contribute to special events, banquets, or group reservations when needed.
Who are we looking for?
- You are currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- You are passionate about service and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences.
- You have a hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mentality.
- You work accurately with attention to quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
- You speak English fluently and/or Dutch (other languages are a plus).
- You are enthusiastic about the hospitality industry and eager to learn.
