Mission Overview:
Keystone Solutions is seeking a Linked Open Data Specialist for a consultancy mission at a client site. The consultant will work closely with domain experts and data specialists to prepare the transformation of BelgoNyms data into Linked Open Data (LOD).
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a strategic and technical study to prepare the transformation of BelgoNyms data into Linked Open Data.

Conceptual Modeling:
-
Analyze BelgoNyms data and its structure.
-
Identify business entities, attributes, and relationships.
-
Produce a documented conceptual model.
-
Create necessary diagrams and graphical representations (UML, RDF, or equivalent).
-
Semantic Modeling:
-
Identify relevant ontologies and vocabularies.
-
Evaluate existing standards.
-
Align the business model with selected vocabularies.
-
Identify necessary semantic extensions.
-
Define a target semantic model.
-
Use Cases and Business Needs:
-
Identify stakeholders.
-
Facilitate workshops.
-
Inventory and prioritize use cases.
-
Define competency questions to validate the model.
-
Reference Data and Interconnection:
-
Identify relevant external reference data.
-
Evaluate alignment possibilities with reference sources.
-
Identify interconnection opportunities with reference data sources such as Wikidata, GeoNames, or INSPIRE.
-
Formulate interoperability recommendations.
-
Governance of Identifiers:
-
Define a governance strategy for URIs/IRIs.
-
Recommend mechanisms to ensure the stability and sustainability of identifiers.
-
Define naming conventions and management rules.
-
Architecture and Technologies:
-
Evaluate RDF modeling and transformation tools.
-
Evaluate solutions for data publication and storage.
-
Propose a target architecture.
-
Recommend the most suitable tools for the client's context.
-
Roadmap:
-
Define implementation phases.
-
Identify dependencies and risks.
-
Establish indicative planning.
-
Formulate final recommendations.
