Are you a Senior Business Analyst who bridges business strategy with deep data architecture expertise? We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Data Expert to analyze, design, and lead the migration from a legacy Data Warehouse to a modern Lakehouse platform! ️
Analyze the current Data Warehouse & Data Hub from business and data perspectives (processes, information flows, "As-Is" architecture)
Define the future ("To-Be") enterprise data model and target Data Warehouse/Lakehouse architecture
Design dimensional models (Kimball) and/or Corporate Information Factory (Inmon) — star schemas, conformed dimensions, data marts
Define Lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric — Bronze, Silver, Gold layers on Delta Lake
Design the transition strategy & migration roadmap to the future platform
Identify opportunities for simplification, harmonization & standardization of data structures/services
Support definition of future service offering, governance model & cost model for the Data Hub
Produce business, functional & data architecture documentation
Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and knowledge transfer activities
Business Analysis
6+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise data or information management projects
Solid experience in business process analysis and requirements engineering
Experience facilitating workshops with business & technical stakeholders
Data Architecture & Modeling
7+ years in enterprise data architecture, data modeling & data warehouse design
Strong knowledge of Kimball (dimensional modeling) and Inmon (CIF) methodologies
Experience in conceptual, logical & physical modeling; data mapping/lineage; MDM & metadata
Modern Data Platforms
Experience designing Lakehouse architectures, ideally Microsoft Fabric & Delta Lake (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
Experience with ELT/ETL patterns and migration from traditional data warehouses to cloud platforms ️
Transformation & Governance
Experience in legacy platform analysis, migration roadmaps, gap analysis, platform consolidation
Experience defining future operating models, service catalogs & business cases
CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent
TOGAF Foundation or Certified
DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
