We are looking for an IT Videoconference Support Agent to support the European Parliament in Brussels. The role is focused on ensuring the smooth operation of videoconferencing and audiovisual systems during meetings, conferences, and hybrid events.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, test, and maintain videoconferencing and audiovisual equipment.
- Prepare meeting rooms and provide on-site technical support during meetings and events.
- Monitor videoconferencing systems and troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and equipment issues in real time.
- Assist and guide users with videoconferencing and collaboration tools.
- Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and software/firmware updates.
- Record and follow up on incidents and technical interventions.
- Coordinate with internal IT/AV teams and external vendors when required.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Contribute to improving the reliability and quality of videoconferencing services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in IT support, audiovisual support, videoconferencing, or a similar technical environment.
- Basic knowledge of videoconferencing and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting audio, video, displays, cameras, microphones, and related equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively during meetings and live events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a technical team.
- Good level of English; knowledge of
French is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Brussels and provide support during meetings and conferences.
Rémunération : 2 189,81€ à 3 000,00€ par mois
