Test Engineer
The assignment
- Set up and debug the chip test bench, including instruments, power supplies, boards, fixtures, cabling, automation scripts, and data acquisition
- Execute functional and parametric tests according to the validation plan, analyze measurement data, identify issues, and correlate results with expectations from the design team.
- Prepare concise test reports with plots, observations, pass/fail criteria, and recommended next steps.
- Coordinate with the test house on test setup requirements, test implementation, logistics, data exchange, issue tracking, and schedule follow-up.
Required knowledge and skills
- Experience with IC or electronic system testing, laboratory measurement equipment, PCB-based test setups, and structured data analysis.
- Comfortable spending most of the time in the lab.
- Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or similar automation environments is mandatory.
- Relevant experience with PMICs and voltage regulators is a plus.
- The candidate should be pragmatic, autonomous, accurate in reporting, and comfortable interacting with an international team, consisting of internal technical teams and external test-service providers.
