Make your mark for patients
As part of our Medical Development Program, we are looking for a Physician who is driven by scientific curiosity, values collaboration, and is committed to improving patient outcomes to join our Patient Evidence team at our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will join a 24-month development program designed for qualified physicians who are new to the pharmaceutical industry and want to apply clinical insight to evidence generation and drug development. Through three 8-month rotations, you will gain broad experience across medical and development teams, including Translational Medicine and Global Clinical Development, build your understanding of how new treatments are developed, and contribute to work that supports people living with neurological and autoimmune conditions.
Who you'll work with
You will be working in a team that brings together medical, development, and evidence-generation expertise to support patient-focused drug development. You will learn through hands-on experience, guidance from a mentor, support from a line manager, and practical help from a buddy during each rotation.
What you'll do

Complete three 8-month rotations across medical and development teams to build broad industry experience.

Contribute clinical insight to evidence generation and patient-focused drug development activities.

Learn how physicians support treatment development within a global biopharmaceutical environment.

Build technical, interpersonal, and behavioural skills through experience, feedback, teamwork, and formal learning.

Explore how modern computational tools and data science can support drug development.

Work with mentors, managers, and buddies to support your development and integration into each team.
Interested?
For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills:

Medical degree with 2 to 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience.

Research training or a strong interest in clinical research would be beneficial.

Experience in internal medicine, neurology, immunology, rare disease, or respiratory medicine is preferred.

Strong interest in translating clinical insight into evidence generation and drug development.

Comfort using modern computational tools, with interest in data science applications in drug development.

Proficiency in English; another European language (or Mandarin) would be beneficial.
