We are actively looking for a motivated and experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team.
In this role, you will align the human resources strategy, policies, and practices with the overall business objectives of Orange Belgium by collaborating closely with business leaders and senior managers to support them in achieving their goals and addressing their challenges.
You will represent HR in the business management team meetings and challenge, support and provide guidance to enable business leaders and senior managers take the best decisions in all HR areas including organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and performance management.
Your main responsibilities:
- Support the business leaders and senior managers in designing the fittest organization (org design, rightsizing, right skills, Span of control, etc) to support the long-term company strategy and in line with the One company culture. Challenge them on the different organization set-up scenarios always focusing on simplicity, flexibility and efficiency in process execution. Make sure the organizational changes follow the company governance.
- Forecast future workforce needs and plans for talent acquisition, development, retention and succession planning in support of the long-term organization development. Assure a close monitoring of relevant metrics on workforce evolutions and proposes tactical approaches to manage retention, attrition, … Make sure the skills & resources practices are in place to meet the business’ needs through a consistent and permanent dialogue with the Talent Team.
- With the support of HR Data analytics, build, present, and monitor HR dashboarding and reporting relevant and accessible for business management allowing informed decisions regarding human resources. Use data to identify trends or challenges, measure the impact of HR programs, and guide decision-making or develop proactive tactics and strategies instead of just reacting to HR issues as they arise.
- Permanently anticipate and manage union issues related to your departments (structure, organization, work organization…). Be responsible for social peace. Act as first contact person for union representations and responsible for preparing union meetings, in close collaboration with the Labor Relations Manager.
- Play a central role in the People & Workplace team, partnering with several areas of expertise around specific needs of his/her business and liaising between the business and HR for goal alignment and HR solution adoption by business management.
- Build a customer support team with HR People Partners and HR Care agents who are the primary contacts in HR for employees and team leaders for addressing individual concerns and managing day-to-day HR operations, administration and processes. Be a functional lead for the HR People Partner (onboarding, coaching, feedback,…) in close collaboration with the functional manager.
