We are Chiesi, a family company founded by Giacomo Chiesi. In 1935, Giacomo started making new medicines in his pharmacy in Parma. Now, 90 years later we are a team of more than 7,500 people united by one goal: making a real difference for patients.
Every day, we work side by side to develop new medicines and solutions for chronic lung diseases, transplants, respiratory problems in premature infants, and rare conditions. Many of our treatments are life-changing or lifesaving and we embrace the responsibility that comes with that. By turning science and insight into innovation, we move health forward and bring hope for a healthier, happier future.
