The Role
As an OEM Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for profitably increasing the sales and market share that Victaulic holds in these disciplines within the Benelux region. This will be accomplished by developing a thorough understanding of our OEM value stream and the use of Victaulic solutions in these systems, while applying the Victaulic Sales Team Strategy and the Goals & Objectives process.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement a yearly business plan aligned with the team strategy, achieving market, product, and profitability targets through a consistent, project‑ and account‑driven Goals & Objectives process, using Salesforce as the central platform for information, operations, and communication.
- Establish project and account priorities by conducting a thorough review of the major owners and key players in each segment.
- Coordinate closely with line sales and regional management within the territory to maximize business results through a collaborative team approach.
- Target a designated and mutually agreed number of accounts, with progress measured and reported through the specification development program.
- Drive complete account development by designing and executing a strategy to promote and sell the full range of Victaulic products.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on strategic planning for all OEM sales activities within the territory.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive activity, pricing developments, and new product introductions.
About You
- You will be active in the Benelux region, and you are comfortable working in an international environment.
- You have written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. Knowledge of an additional language—preferably French—is considered a valuable asset.
- You hold a degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or you can demonstrate equivalent technical expertise.
- You are familiar or experienced with the piping business, or you can demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the necessary technical knowledge and skills.
- You have a strong commercial mindset, result-driven, resilient, and a customer‑oriented approach.
- You have an affinity with the OEM sector, ideally within machine building, water-treatment, biogas, or compressed air systems; experience in these sectors is a significant advantage.
- You are willing to travel as required, primarily within the Benelux region, but international travel may sometimes also occur.
- You maintain an active and professional presence on relevant industry networks and within industry associations, in alignment with your manager and Victaulic’s marketing objectives.
