Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- A good general secondary education;
- At least 3 years relevant experience;
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record for vehicles in the following categories: vehicles up to 8 passengers and vehicles with small trailers.
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of motor pool operations;
- Experience in supply/inventory operations;
- Training in First Aid at work.
Duties/role:
- Managing NCIA vehicle assets, ensuring that inspections and maintenance are carried out and that all insurance papers and other documentation are up to date;
- Advising the Principal Assistant (Supply & Transport) when a vehicle is required to be taken out of regular service;
- Maintaining transport statistics for Agency vehicles, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance issues, and costs, and producing monthly reports.
