- You will lead, develop, and support the accounting team to ensure its performance, commitment, and the achievement of the department’s objectives.
- You will oversee and participate in data entry for general and cost accounting.
- You will manage general accounting and related controls and ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all transactions.
- You ensure that general and cost accounting are properly maintained and that all legal, tax, and regulatory requirements are met.
- You perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in accordance with applicable deadlines and standards.
- You ensure the accuracy of tax returns and the correct application of accounting and tax principles.
- You identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement and implement the necessary actions to optimize accounting processes.
- You contribute to the preparation of internal and external audits and ensure rigorous follow-up on recommendations.
- You participate in the development of financial tools and the continuous improvement of processes, particularly through the use of the ERP system.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, or have equivalent experience
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting
- You have team management experience
- You have experience with accounting software or an ERP system (Odoo is a plus)
- You are fluent in English.
- You have a strategic vision and demonstrate leadership and assertiveness
- You are organized, analytical, and able to prioritize effectively
- You take initiative and make decisions, and you have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
