The Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and delivering accurate financial reporting. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights that drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with Belgian tax requirements
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support year-end accounts and audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualification (or working towards) is a plus
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
- Advanced google suite, NetSuite knowledge is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Fluent in English/French, Dutch is a plus
- Basic accounting skills are required. Accounting technician qualification, or equivalent degree is preferred
- High degree of attention to detail is essential

- Strong communication skills (supplier, fiduciary, auditor, administration relationship)
