Hands-on – Communicative – Proactive
As a Global Mobility Specialist based in Wolvertem, Belgium, you will play a key role in building and further professionalising our Global Mobility Department. You will combine hands-on ownership of international mobility cases with the implementation of global mobility policies, stakeholder support and continuous process improvement. Working closely with HR teams and business stakeholders across the globe, you will help ensure compliant, efficient and employee-focused international assignments. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with strategic impact.

Your job in a nutshell:
- Manage international mobility cases including short- and long-term assignments, permanent transfers and international hires.
- Ensure compliance with immigration, tax, social security, payroll and labour law requirements across multiple countries.
- Act as the trusted point of contact for employees, HR teams and external partners on global mobility matters.
- Coordinate with specialist vendors and support internal and external mobility audits.
- Support the global rollout of mobility policies through training, guidance and practical tools.
- Build strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance and Legal stakeholders worldwide.
- Drive process improvements, reporting, automation initiatives and data transparency through Excel and AI solutions.
- Reporting line: Global Mobility Manager. You will work closely with international HR and business teams across the Sarens organisation.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Global Mobility, international employment, immigration or a related discipline.
- Proven experience independently managing international mobility cases.
- Strong knowledge of immigration, personal income tax, social security, labour law and international payroll.
- Experience within consultancy, combined with in-house exposure, is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Additional language skills are highly valued.
- Strong stakeholder management and intercultural communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Interest in AI, automation and process optimisation.
