Quest International BV is seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector for its Belgium Service Repair Center. This individual-contributor position focuses on inspecting, testing, verifying and documenting electronic and electro-mechanical equipment before acceptance, release or shipment.
The position requires professional working Dutch and English, accurate quality documentation and reliable daily attendance at the Bornem facility. The U.S. team will make every effort to schedule communications between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Belgium time, within the employee’s regular working hours.
Inspect incoming, in-process, repaired and completed electronic or electro-mechanical equipment, including final release inspections.
Conduct visual, functional, electrical and, when applicable, dimensional inspections using approved procedures and appropriate test or measurement equipment.
Verify repairs, replacement parts and test results, and review work orders for serial numbers, parts, findings, results and required approvals.
Identify, segregate and document damaged, defective or nonconforming equipment, including applicable nonconformance, deviation, quarantine and corrective-action records.
Maintain accurate ERP or SAP, ESD, calibration, traceability and quality records while supporting inventory verification, audit documentation, workplace organization and safety requirements.
Recent paid, hands-on experience with technical inspection, equipment testing, repair verification, electronics service, electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing quality.
Experience following technical procedures and accurately documenting serial numbers, product identifiers, defects, test results, parts and disposition decisions.
Experience using professional test or measurement equipment, Microsoft Word and Excel, and an ERP or approved business tracking system.
Professional working Dutch and English sufficient to understand procedures, communicate with colleagues and the U.S. team, and document inspection findings, plus authorization to work in Belgium without sponsorship.
A valid driver’s license, reliable daily access to a car and the ability to report to Bornem Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and perform the essential onsite duties, including occasional lifting of up to 18 kilograms/40 pounds, with or without a reasonable workplace adjustment.
Experience with electronic, electro-mechanical, automotive, industrial or medical-device equipment.
Experience with incoming inspection, final inspection, repair verification or release-to-ship activities.
Experience using multimeters, electronic test equipment, calipers, micrometers or other calibrated measurement equipment.
Experience with ERP or SAP work orders, material-release transactions, ESD controls, calibration records and product traceability.
Experience with nonconformance reports, CAPA, deviations, quarantine, RMAs, Service Repair Center operations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949 or another controlled quality system.
