About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant to join a dynamic client project in Belgium. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions while contributing to the platform's evolution through AI and Generative AI capabilities.
You will work across the full project lifecycle—from requirements analysis and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing platform optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow solutions, primarily within ITSM and CSM modules.
- Develop applications, workflows, Flow Designer solutions, UI Policies, Business Rules, and integrations.
- Participate throughout the complete project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications while implementing new platform capabilities.
- Build and support integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
- Contribute to AI-powered capabilities, including Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, and Automation solutions.
- Ensure platform governance, security, compliance, and performance best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and recommend ServiceNow best practices to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Customer Service Management (CSM) modules.
- Excellent knowledge of:
- JavaScript (Client-side & Server-side)
- Flow Designer
- ServiceNow APIs
- Experience with:
- REST & SOAP integrations
- MID Server
- Integration Hub
- Good understanding of:
- Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Platform Security
- CMDB architecture
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
Required Certifications
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Preferred Qualifications
- CIS-ITSM
- CIS-CSM
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
- Experience with ServiceNow AI and Generative AI capabilities.
Language Requirements
- English and Dutch are preferred.
- French is considered an advantage.
- French-speaking professionals with strong English skills are also encouraged to apply if comfortable working within a predominantly Dutch-speaking team.
