As a Landscaping Team Leader, you will work on various sites across Flanders and be responsible for the organisation and follow-up of daily activities.
You will act as a key point of contact on site, combining your technical knowledge with a hands-on approach and effective support for your colleagues.
As a Landscaping Team Leader, you will:
- Organise and coordinate your team’s daily activities across different sites;
- Allocate tasks and ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and in line with the schedule;
- Actively participate in landscaping and green space maintenance activities;
- Ensure clear communication with your colleagues, the planning team and your manager;
- Monitor the quality of the work performed and make adjustments where necessary;
- Ensure compliance with safety instructions and applicable procedures;
- Ensure the correct and safe use of machinery, tools, vehicles and materials;
- Report any issues, additional work or specific on-site requirements in a timely manner;
- Support the planning team by providing accurate information on work progress and operational needs on site.
Together with your team, you will also carry out tasks including:
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants;
- Pruning trees, hedges and other vegetation, taking the appropriate pruning and flowering periods into account;
- Mowing and maintaining lawns;
- Fertilising and maintaining green spaces.
- You have relevant experience in landscaping, green space maintenance, garden development or a similar environment;
- You work in an organised, accurate and quality-focused manner;
- You are able to guide and support your colleagues in a clear and respectful way;
- You are able to work independently and manage priorities effectively;
- You hold a valid BE driving licence;
- You hold a valid phytolicence appropriate to the activities required for the role;
- Experience operating machinery such as tractors, aerial work platforms or mini excavators is a significant advantage;
- You have a sufficient command of Dutch to work safely, coordinate activities and communicate professionally with colleagues and customers;
- You are willing to travel to various sites across Flanders.
