The Technical Product Analyst drives the development and release of products and tools, focusing on technical execution and operational readiness. This role acts as a key technical liaison with engineering teams and internal/external stakeholders, translating needs into technical requirements, guiding development, and ensuring product quality, release readiness, and ongoing technical support.
Responsibilities
Product & Release Management

Provide essential technical input especially for releases and upgrades.

Develop risk assessments for product upgrades, defining mitigation and testing strategies.

Determine and manage configuration options for production features, including scripting as needed.

Maintain detailed records of upgrade processes and configurations.

Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, QA, and Client Directors for seamless deployments and upgrades.

Support the creation and execution of upgrade plans and timelines.

Create and maintain essential product documentation, including release notes and user manuals.
Product Support & Issue Resolution

Serve as a technical product expert, providing in-depth support for product inquiries.

Investigate, triage, and prioritize complex product bugs and technical issues.

Develop and implement mitigation strategies for client-specific upgrades or technical challenges.
Testing & Quality Assurance

Manage and maintain dedicated testing environments for issue investigation and release testing.

Prepare and configure test environments with specific data and configurations.

Write and execute comprehensive upgrade test cases.
Product Definition
-
Define and implement requirements for new and existing products.

Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Gather user needs from client engagements and internal stakeholders, translating them into product requirements.

Analyze product performance data to inform future technical and product strategy.

3+ years in clinical research, specifically in clinical supplies operations, RTSM/IRT services delivery, support, or eClinical systems implementation.

Proven experience in software development, including writing Python scripts and performing code reviews.

Demonstrated experience in software testing, including test case development and execution.

Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as US FDA GCP, ICH GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11.

Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
