As a Motion Designer, you play a key role in bringing brands to life through movement. You don’t see motion as an add-on, but as a fundamental part of brand identity. You sit at the heart of the creative process, shaping brands from concept to execution - with a strong focus on motion systems, animated identities, and dynamic brand assets.
For small to mid-sized projects, you work independently with Creative Direction. On larger-scale projects, you collaborate closely with Senior Designers and the Creative Director.
No two weeks are the same. One day you’re developing motion principles for a new identity, the next you’re building a flexible brand system, refining packaging, or preparing a client presentation.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Lead with motion: You think in motion first. You design animated identities, motion principles, and brand behaviors that define how a brand moves, lives, and evolves across platforms. From logo animations to full motion systems, you create work that enhances storytelling and brand experience.
Translate strategy into dynamic identities: You’ll translate strategic insights into bold visual and motion concepts, understanding how movement can strengthen narrative and create emotional impact.
Build scalable brand systems: You help develop cohesive brand systems that work seamlessly across digital, social, spatial, and physical touch points. You ensure that motion and static design reinforce each other.
Craft with precision: You care deeply about rhythm, timing, typography, detail, and consistency. Whether static or in motion, your work is polished, purposeful, and technically strong.
The position is based in our Antwerp studio, where close interaction and teamwork fuel creativity and innovation.
