As a Mechanical Designer at TMC, you contribute to the development of advanced mechanical prototypes and process modules within the Pharma Solids environment. You are responsible for translating concepts into functional, high-quality solutions that enable future technologies and production processes. In this role, you work at the intersection of mechanical design, process feasibility, and prototype engineering, supporting the entire development trajectory from concept to initial working prototypes. **What You Will Do:** As part of an innovative and multidisciplinary R&D team: - Design and define mechanical concepts for prototypes and test setups that demonstrate process feasibility according to functional requirements. - Translate process ideas into operational process modules and units with high technical quality. - Study ergonomics for operators and service technicians. - Execute detailed 3D mechanical design for new parts, modules, and devices. - Liaise with suppliers, follow up on orders through the supply chain, and ensure delivery and quality of prototype components. - Support the assembly, integration, and testing of prototypes and devices. - Work on improvements for existing equipment, continuous processing lines, and tablet press systems, and communicate these within the engineering team. - Report progress, risks, and necessary actions to the R&D Manager, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time. - Actively contribute as a creative, open-minded, and proactive team member who enjoys tackling technical challenges.
