PROGRAMME & TARGET AUDIENCE
New program at HEC Liège: Master in Global Transition and Sustainability Management (GTSM)
This master is aimed at students holding a university bachelor’s degree who wish to understand, anticipate,
and manage sustainability and transition challenges within businesses, organisations and society.
Interdisciplinary program, 100% in English, with courses from HEC and from other ULiège faculties.
Starting academic year: 2026-2027
Schedule: day-time teaching from mi-September to mi-December
COURSE DESCRIPTION (INDICATIVE, NON-EXHAUSTIVE)
Modern agricultural systems and their shortcomings, as well as alternative agroecological approaches
Innovations for sustainable agriculture and food systems
Principles for the transition towards robust, sustainable, agroecological systems that can feed the world
(at local and regional levels)
The course is part of the “Food and Ecosystems” module of the program. Suggestions to further develop or
adapt the course content or suggest specific teaching approaches are welcome.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Demonstrated expertise in food systems-related issues
Strong English teaching skills for a university-level audience
