Pluxee is issuing payment means across the world, especially in Europe through IMAGOR, a licensed E-money and Payment Services institution regulated in Belgium. In this context, we are looking for a Compliance and Internal Control Officer to provide support to Pluxee's countries in the launch and deployment of their Payment projects, in particular the projects involving the issuance of electronic money and provision of payment services.
The Compliance and risk Officer will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Risk Officer of IMAGOR and shall act as a trusted and responsive business partner, providing key advice and pragmatic solutions as well as contributing to arbitration decisions in relation with important and strategic business matters.

Supporting compliance with applicable laws and regulations and third-party guidelines
Identify the applicable regulations applicable to payment programs and perform a continuous regulatory monitoring
Participate in implementing the requirements by drafting and updating internal policies and creating internal awareness
Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and regulation. This includes:
Leading the implementation of internal AML/CFT procedures and policies, supporting the countries on their implementation and ensuring that they are well applied
Managing the administration of the centralized AML screening tool and AML scoring tool
Managing investigations in regulatory and compliance issues and contributing to the responses to requests for information from regulatory bodies when necessary
Third level investigation in case of atypical/suspicious operations
Report, warn, give recommendations on the progress in implementing the procedures and controls, on compliance issues and on regulatory evolutions
Contribute to the organization of trainings within the activity to enhance awareness on compliance programs
Support Pluxee entities on the compliance with local AML/CFT regulatory framework when dealing with payment regulations
internal control and risk management of Pluxee-owned electronic money institution:
Contribute to the update and communication of the policies
Evaluate the risks and their importance according to Pluxee’s risk assessment process
Contribute to the implementation and deployment of the internal control framework and annual campaigns according to Pluxee’s methodology
Perform second-level controls and consolidate the results in reporting tool
Help determine and follow-up action plans based on the deficiencies found in relation with each entity involved
Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports for the National Bank of Belgium
Monitor and follow-up the implementation of the applicable internal control framework by the distributors of Pluxee owned electronic money institution
You’re a match
Fluency in English & French
University degree in Legal affairs, Finance or Business (BAC 5+)
Minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in a Compliance department of a main international group, preferably in a financial institution. (Certified Compliance Officer would be a plus)
Strong expertise in internal control & payment services regulations
Excellent skills in negotiation, drafting, legal analysis and problem resolution
Business acumen, good understanding of financial, commercial and legal constraints in Payment Operations business
Strong customer service orientation and strong business ethics
Autonomy, pragmatism, rigor, ability to prioritize
Team player, strong interpersonal/diplomacy communication skills to interact with people at all levels of the Pluxee organization
