Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Liège, Belgium.
To support the growth of our logistics operations in Belgium, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse activities, coordinate on-site teams, and support continuous improvement of operational performance.
The successful candidate will work closely with the local operations team and play an important role in ensuring smooth warehouse processes, efficient team coordination, and high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, sorting, storage, order preparation, and outbound goods flow.
- Organize and coordinate the work of on-site teams, including task allocation, attendance follow-up, and workforce planning based on daily workload.
- Ensure that internal procedures, quality standards, and site rules are properly followed.
- Monitor warehouse performance indicators, including productivity, quality, lead time, and operational priorities.
- Identify areas for improvement in daily operations and propose practical solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and workflow.
- Maintain effective communication with warehouse teams, operations managers, support departments, and external service providers when required.
- Support, train, and motivate team members to maintain a good level of performance and engagement.
- Ensure proper use of warehouse equipment, materials, and working areas.
- Prepare operational reports and escalate key information to local management when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, e-commerce, distribution, or a similar operational environment.
- Previous experience in team supervision or people management is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flows.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to daily operational needs.
- Practical mindset, sense of responsibility, and results-oriented approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
- Basic computer skills are required; experience with a WMS or logistics management system is a plus.
- Fluent French is required; English is a plus.
- Chinese language skills are highly appreciated, especially to support communication with internal teams and stakeholders based in China.
