During your internship, you become an integral part of the Sales team and our commercial operations. You’ll discover how an international hotel chain builds corporate relationships, secures events and ensures that Ghent Marriott remains top of mind for partners both in Belgium and abroad.
You’ll receive responsibilities, guidance and plenty of room to grow. And on top of that, you’ll receive an attractive internship compensation of €750 per month.
- You support the Sales team with daily tasks, proposals, contracts and follow-ups.
- You assist in identifying new business opportunities and conduct market analyses.
- You work with CRM tools and reporting systems that teach you how sales really works.
- You help create presentations, sales materials and event documents.
- You collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an excellent experience for guests and clients.
- You keep an eye on the competition and share interesting trends with the team.
In short: you gain a unique all-round insight into the workings of a commercial hotel department.
- You are curious, energetic and ready to take your first steps into the hospitality or business world.
- You are studying Hotel Management, Business Administration, Communication, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.
- You speak English fluently.
- You are digitally savvy (Microsoft Office; CRM experience is a plus).
- You communicate easily and enjoy working with people.
- You work in an organized way and have a keen eye for detail.
- You are proactive and love taking initiative.
- You thrive in a dynamic international environment.
- You have a passion for hospitality, sales and creating memorable experiences.
