As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for the full preparation process from A to Z and help maintain the quality and standards of our kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Preparing sushi rice and mise-en-place
- Cutting and preparing fish and seafood
- Making nigiri, maki, california rolls, special rolls, tartares, ceviche, and other dishes
- Preparing and finishing dishes with attention to detail and presentation (very important)
- Maintaining hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards
- Organising your workstation independently and efficiently during service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef is required
- Strong knowledge of fish and seafood handling
- Good knife skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Strong work ethic and able to handle busy services
- Available during weekends and evening shifts
- English, French or Dutch speaking
