We are looking for a DT Lead Medical Affairs who is strategic, collaborative, and results-driven to join us in our Digital Technology Patient Evidence team, based in our HQ office in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
In this global role, you will lead the digital technology strategy and delivery for Medical Affairs systems supporting both clinical development and marketed products. You will oversee key platforms enabling medical activities, ensuring they are secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
You will play a central role in shaping the technology roadmap, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless system integration across functions. By combining technical expertise with strategic thinking, you will help improve operational efficiency and deliver meaningful value for patients and stakeholders.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Safety, and Digital Technology colleagues across the organization.
You will also partner with external technology providers and subject matter experts to deliver best-in-class solutions. The team is global, diverse, and focused on innovation, working together to ensure connected systems and high-quality outcomes across all medical technology platforms.
What you’ll do

Lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Medical Affairs digital technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global objectives

Oversee system operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, data integrity, and cybersecurity requirements across all supported platforms

Act as system owner, managing release cycles, validation activities, and continuous improvements to maintain high performance and compliance

Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience

Build and manage partnerships with technology providers to implement new features and stay aligned with industry best practices.

Ensure integration and connectivity across systems, enabling seamless data flow and supporting cross-functional collaboration

Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Master’s degree or equivalent experience in technology, life sciences, or a related field

At least three years of experience in a technology role within the healthcare or life sciences environment

Experience working with enterprise platforms supporting medical or regulated processes

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for digital systems and data management

Proven ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and technology delivery in a global environment

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and business understanding

Fluent in English with strong communication and collaboration skills
