Innovation Sprint is looking for a talented Researcher to join our engineering team to work on European R&D projects and the company’s product.
Innovation Sprint is a technology start-up in the Clinical and Healthcare industry that offers state of the art solutions and services. Our team combines ICT, medical and data analytics expertise to improve health and pharmaceutical products and services, and to develop personalised healthcare solutions. The company has headquarters in Brussels (BE) and R&D offices in Athens (GR) and Enschede (NL). We are currently recruiting for our Athens site.
Healthentia is the product of Innovation Sprint, a software medical device that can observe subjects (or patients) collecting all sorts of data about them at their everyday setting, and providing analytics that help healthcare professionals better understand them. It also uses AI technologies to understand the subjects, and then intervene to their benefit, observing state-of-the-art behavioural change techniques.
What you'll do

Contribute to the successful execution of research projects:
-
Interact with international consortia.
-
Study and contribute to the state-of-the-art technologies on understanding subjects’ and patients’ needs under a healthcare context. More specifically we welcome enthusiasts in any off the following technologies: Machine Learning, Data Analytics and Behavioural Change.

Deliver prototype systems on the above-mentioned technologies, but also leveraging modern software development techniques.

Provide technical documentation (deliverable documents & presentations)

Enrich the company’s project portfolio:

Identify opportunities in upcoming calls.

Participate in proposal preparation.

Personal development:

Stay up-to-date with advances in the technical area of expertise, eagerly expanding to neighbouring areas.

Enforce standards and best practices.
Mandatory qualifications & Skills
- MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths or related fields.

Documentation:
-
Excellent use of English (written and spoken).

Technical presentation and documentation skills.

Machine Learning, Data Science Behavioural Change Science or related areas of expertise:

Theoretical knowledge.

Practical experience in building systems.

Software engineering skills

Object-oriented Python and 3rd-party libraries associated to field of expertise.
