ABOUT PULSO
Pulso is a Belgian MedTech startup developing in vitro cardiovascular simulation solutions for medical device companies, hospitals, and research centers.
Our mission is to realistically reproduce the workings of the cardiovascular system to accelerate the development, evaluation, and validation of medical technologies, while helping reduce the use of animal testing. At the crossroads of engineering, research, and medicine, Pulso turns complex clinical needs into concrete solutions that advance cardiovascular innovation. We are already generating strong revenue with a solid forward pipeline, working internationally across several European markets, and entering an important growth phase.
YOUR MISSION
As Lead Engineer at Pulso, you will take ownership of our technical activities and help shape how we develop, test, and deliver our technology. Beyond engineering execution, we are looking for someone proactive and autonomous who brings structure, challenges existing approaches, and puts their own technical perspective into Pulso. The role remains highly hands-on: you will design, prototype, test, troubleshoot, and improve our cardiovascular simulation solutions, working directly with the CEO to turn customer and clinical needs into robust technical solutions.
YOUR RESPOSABILITIES
- Own technical development: lead the design, prototyping, assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of Pulso’s products and client-specific setups.
- Structure the technical function: introduce effective methods, documentation, planning, and workflows to make engineering activities more reliable, efficient, and scalable.
- Drive technical projects autonomously: translate requirements into concrete actions, coordinate suppliers and partners, anticipate issues, and take corrective decisions to ensure delivery.
- Challenge and improve: proactively identify technical opportunities, propose solutions, and bring your own ideas and engineering perspective to Pulso’s products and ways of working.
- Connect engineering with the field: translate customer and clinical needs into technical solutions, participating in client meetings, demonstrations, hospital visits, and congresses.
