Our Garage operates an all-inclusive electric moped subscription service in Brussels. Our fleet is used daily by hundreds of customers, which makes reliability, safety, and quality absolutely critical.
As a Mechanic, you will play a key hands-on role in maintaining, repairing, commissioning, and quality-controlling our electric moped fleet. You will become a technical reference in the workshop and help ensure that all vehicles leaving the workshop are safe, compliant, and customer-ready.
This role combines technical expertise, operational discipline, administration, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance, Repairs & Technical Work
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric mopeds. (mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems).
- Work efficiently, precisely, and cleanly, with speed and attention to detail.
- Quickly identify problems and implement sustainable, high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to preparing vehicles for daily use by customers.
- Support colleagues with complex repairs, when necessary.
- Ensure that each vehicle meets all standards before being returned to service.
- Accurately record all repairs and maintenance work in the CRM/workshop application, including: Parts replaced, Clear descriptions of work performed & bike information.
We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:
Required :
Solid experience as a mechanic, ideally with:
- Electric vehicles, mopeds, motorcycles, or similar.
Strong skills in:
- Mechanical systems.
- Electrical systems.
- Basic electronics.
- High level of precision, speed, and quality awareness.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Well-organized and methodical.
- Comfortable using computers for:
- CRM systems.
- Email communication.
- Basic reporting.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Languages: English required, French is a plus.
Nice to Have :
- Experience working in a fleet or high-utilisation environment.
Driving licence:
- A valid Category B driving licence is required, as some tasks involve driving a company van.
