Function Description
Collaborate with the Cluster Product Owner to scope and structure analysis work aligned with the Payments Tribe’s strategic focus on excellence and client-centricity
Shaping refinements by providing data-driven insights and structured business analysis
Ensure these insights are translated into measurable data to measure the evolution of our KPI’s
Support the integration of "Payment Excellence" capabilities into the local BNP Paribas (Fortis) landscape, ensuring end-to-end coverage from initiation to resolution
Act as lead business analyst on initiative level with focus on automation of exception handling, including deployment of SWIFT Case Manager and ISO20022 compliance, Smart Routing, and AI-driven resolution tools
Analyse service requests and recurring issues raised by corporate clients, identify pain points and root causes, and propose improvements that reduce request volumes and elevate client satisfaction
Lead refinement activities: engage stakeholders across different countries engaged in this initiative, document needs and ensure functional alignment across squads
As a senior business analyst, you are expected to be capable of managing your scope and milestones project based
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, and ensure alignment across business, functional, and technical teams throughout the delivery cycle
Foster strong alignment across multi-entity working groups, especially global payment streams
Education
Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in international and SEPA payments + investigations
Required Experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience
Technical Experience
Mandatory
Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods
Good expertise in MS Office
Good understanding of IT and testing
Experience with requirements management

Good knowledge of agile metholodogy

Good understanding of work flow processes

Good understanding of payments processing and investigations; understanding of the European and global (SWIFT) payment landscape

International Payments & investigations knowledge : Solid track record in payments, investigations and related operations; a minimum of 10 years experience
