Supervises and coordinates the activities of plumbers and mechanics assigned to wastewater collection and treatment systems under LOGCAP V / V2X Public Works. Oversees installation, maintenance, and repair of piping networks, valves, pumps, and lift stations. Ensures all work meets IPC/UPC, EPA, and DPW environmental and safety standards. Manages crew scheduling, work prioritization, and reporting while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with contract requirements.

- Supervise a team of plumbers responsible for maintaining and repairing wastewater plumbing infrastructure.

Schedule and oversee daily work assignments, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Provide technical guidance to team members and conduct training on plumbing best practices.

Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues, recommend solutions, and coordinate necessary repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all plumbing activities.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and prepare reports for management.

Coordinate with other departments for cross-functional projects involving wastewater systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High school diploma or equivalent

Journeyman-level plumbing or wastewater utilities experience

Demonstrated supervisory or crew leadership experience

Strong knowledge of wastewater collection systems

Ability to read construction drawings and piping schematics

Valid driver’s license

Experience:

Minimum of 10+ years of experience

Certificates:

OSHA 30 Construction or General Industry (required within 90 days of hire)

Lock-Out / Tag-Out supervisor training (required within 90 days of hire)

Confined Space entry certification (required within 90 days of hire)

Trenching and excavation safety training (required within 90 days of hire)
-
First Aid / CPR (required within 90 days of hire)
-
Wastewater safety compliance training (required within 90 days of hire)

Journeyman plumbing license (Or Equivalent, Required)

Wastewater collection certification (Or Equivalent, Required)

Backflow or cross-connection certification (Or Equivalent, Required)

Heavy equipment operation familiarity (Preferred)

Skills:

Proficiency in plumbing and wastewater systems, with experience in pipe installation and repair.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and train team members.

High level of communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Proficient in computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) for scheduling and documentation.

Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in wastewater plumbing.

Ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues and coordinate repairs effectively.

Working Conditions:

Must be capable of working in a tropical weather condition with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, wet, tropical environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees in the summer months).

Physical Requirements:
