The role holder is in charge of BME sets of books and ensures accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and financial compliance for assigned Brunswick Marine EMEA entities, while supporting business performance and financial governance.
Accountabilities:
Actively participate in the day-to-day accounting activities of entities in the scope of the SSC, including, but not limited to:

Booking of the suppliers’ invoices and follow-up on variances
-
Ensure all invoices have been appropriately approved
-
Maintain fixed assets modules, including booking of fixed asset invoices and recording monthly depreciation
-
Follow-up on I/Co balances including variances identified
Accountable for the group reporting packages
-
Preparation of summary balance sheet and P&L, and preparation
and loading of reporting files -
Completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly reportings and schedules for EMEA entities
In charge of closing tasks for branches in the scope of the shared service
center, including but not limited to:

Supplier invoices and follow-up on accruals
-
G/L entries and follow-up on clearing accounts
-
Follow-up on expenses and appropriate approvals
-
Reinvoicing of expenses to other companies of the group, Send I/Co confirmations to ensure balanced accounts

Ad hoc questions or reports
In charge of the reconciliation of any accounts under the scope of
responsibilities for branches in the scope of the shared service center.
Is a point of contact for any questions or requirement from the internal
and or external auditors, and from Tax, Treasury and FP&A departments.
Support any requirement, ad hoc analysis required by local management,
FP&A team, Mercury, Venture Group or Brunswick Corporation.
Skills & Knowledge:

Accounting / Financial degree
-
At least 3-5 years general accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
- Strong Knowledge of Excel

Fluent in French and English
-
Good level in German is an asset

Attention to detail

Able to work in a multi-company’s environment

Basic understanding of US GAAP

This exciting position offers a salary range between 50.000€ and 69.300€ (payable in 13.92 instalments). Please be aware that this range represents the pay scale for all positions within the job grade in which the post falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location.
