What’s the job about?
As SHS (Safety, Healthcare, Sustainability) Manager you would be part of the QSHS team. You would work on medium to large projects being responsible for bringing the best solution to the table for the customer. Beside that you would have an important role to develop tools and processes supporting the team processes.
Tasks & responsibilities
? Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s global prevention policy in line with well-being legislation.
? Advise management and employees on occupational health, safety, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, fire prevention, and environmental issues.
? Conduct and update risk analyses and translate them into annual action plans.
? Ensure compliance with BX laws and the Codex on Well-being at Work.
? Organize and follow up on workplace inspections, incident investigations, and audits.
? Coordinate with external services for prevention and protection at work.
? Provide training, awareness sessions, and internal communication on safety and prevention topics.
? Support the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW/CPPT).
? Act as a point of contact for inspections by government authorities (FOD WASO).
? Lead, support and develop the three SHS colleagues employed in BX.
Who are we looking for?
? Recognized Belgian Prevention Advisor Level I qualification. This is a must for this role.
? Proven experience in logistics, warehousing or transport-support activities.
? Strong knowledge of Belgian Well-being at Work legislation.
? Leadership experience.
