We are looking for a QA Systems Officer (Facilities) who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and quality‑driven to join our team based at our UCB campus in Braine‑l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
You are going to ensure that all technical operations related to pharmaceutical production and analysis remain compliant with applicable regulations and UCB Quality Systems. You will co‑develop and implement robust quality systems, maintain a strong state of compliance and control, and proactively drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will focus on Quality Management Systems, audit management, access management, pest control, and inspection readiness.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with the manufacturing activities, including the Facilities. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to communicate quality systems requirements, support audits and inspections, and foster a strong quality culture across the site.
What you will do

You will maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System and related processes.

You will organize and coordinate quality oversight on GMP‑compliant pest control across the manufacturing site.

You will support facilities teams with access management, change control, and deviation handling acting as QA.

You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and improve quality KPIs.

You will promote quality culture, compliance awareness, and accountability across UCB teams.

You will support internal and external audits and ensure inspection readiness.
Interested?
For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.

Mandatory experience in Quality in a regulated pharmaceutical or life‑science environment.

Experience with Quality Management Systems and auditing is a strong asset.

Ability to work autonomously, balance multiple priorities, and make fact‑based decisions.

Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
