Mission
The Director of Cantillana Façade is responsible for the operational implementation and daily management of Cantillana Façade, ensuring that all activities follow the guidelines and strategic framework provided by the group. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, sustainable local growth, and profitability with full P&L responsibility. Key duties include managing daily operations and logistics, coordinating customer service to ensure optimized processes, and strengthening client relationships within the Belgian market.
Result Areas
Operational Sales & Business Execution
Implement and execute sales activities in alignment with group commercial policies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth areas through market research and competitor analysis.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive long-term business growth.
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Ensure that sales processes and commercial policies are clearly defined, optimized, and adhered to.
Operational Organization & Customer Excellence
Ensure the efficient organization of local customer service and support functions.
Optimize daily operational workflows to enhance customer satisfaction and brand reliability.
Manage the execution of marketing materials as defined by group standards to support local sales.
Monitor local market feedback to ensure operational alignment with client needs.
Maintain a unified and effective operational approach in all commercial interactions.
Customer Relationship Management & Market Expansion
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, contractors, and distributors.
Lead high-level negotiations and establish strategic partnerships to enhance business opportunities.
Develop customer segmentation strategies to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through consistent engagement and support.
Oversee the development of CRM systems and tools to track customer interactions, feedback, and opportunities.
Operational, Logistics & Customer Service Management
Define the long-term logistics, inventory, and supply chain strategy aligned with broader company goals.
Provide high-level oversight to ensure processes aren't just optimized for today, but designed to scale for future growth.
Act as the escalation point when daily operations hit major bottlenecks, systemic issues, or critical failures.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and develop teams, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation.
Set clear KPIs, goals, and professional development plans for team members.
Establish a structured training program to enhance expertise.

Financial & Commercial Management
Develop and manage the sales, marketing, and operational budget, ensuring profitability and return on investment with full P&L responsibility.

Collaborate with the finance team on forecasting, financial planning, and cost control.
Ensure commercial policies and pricing structures are competitive and aligned with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Group Alignment
Work closely with R&D and Technical Support to develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
Align local sales and operational activities with group policies, production, and logistics for smooth execution.
Partner with HR for recruitment, training, and talent development in the commercial department.
Align with international sales teams within the company group to share best practices and strategies.
Ensure continuous communication between departments to optimize business performance.
Reporting & Market Analysis
Track sales and marketing performance through data-driven analysis and KPI monitoring.
Provide regular reports on revenue, market trends, customer feedback, and strategic initiatives.
Use analytics and insights to refine strategies and improve business outcomes.
Monitor competitor activities and industry innovations to ensure a competitive edge.
Make data-driven recommendations to senior management for future business growth initiatives.
Ideal Profile
Education & Experience
Higher education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Business or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the sector (construction, coatings, or industrial), with a focus on local operations and management.
Proven track record in managing teams and overseeing daily business operations.
