- At Carrefour, Orange Business ensures the seamless operation and evolution of the Data Platform, managing both analytical and operational data flows with a focus on reliability and performance. We handle diverse workloads, including batch and stream processing. By processing everyday terabytes of data that feed dashboards and web APIs, we empower Carrefour to leverage data-driven insights and support their business growth.
- Big Pharma International Company: Orange Business migrated a Drug Discovery Data Platform hosted on-premises from a Hadoop stack to Azure. During the migration, we improved various data flows to reduce processing time, implemented proactive data quality checks, and optimized the CI/CD pipelines. Our efforts resulted in a more efficient and reliable platform, allowing scientists to quickly and safely assess the potential of tested molecules for new drugs development.
- For Paradigm, Orange Business created a data platform and a unified set of tools for all public sector to conduct data projects, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps processes to enable self-service and standardization. We were able to handle many projects from all administrations, ranging from API management to data processing & analytics, as well as data science modelling.

What You’ll Do:

Your role will involve the management of our Data Ops team as a highly skilled data engineer. You will take on a leadership role while continuing to deliver strong value to our customers through your work as a consultant on data engineering projects, developing, testing, and continuously deploying data solutions in cloud environments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of 10–15 consultants while building a strong team spirit through regular follow-up and team activities.
- Strategy: Define and implement the team strategy in collaboration with the other data team leads within the Data & Cloud chapter.
- Culture & Development: Foster a positive, innovative, and excellence-driven culture while supporting consultants’ growth through guidance, motivation, and tailored training plans.
- Recruitment & Capability Building: Contribute to team growth by recruiting new resources and aligning skills with company objectives, market evolution, and sector needs.
- Sales & Business Development: Support sales and pre-sales activities by responding to staffing requests, RFIs, and RFPs, and by contributing innovative solutions for prospects and clients.
- Consultant staffing: optimize staffing based on company performance, client needs, and individual ambitions.
- Consulting & Delivery: Continue contributing as a consultant on data engineering projects, helping clients solve data challenges while shaping the Cloud & Data offering.

Your technical expertise:
- A master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Physics or any related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Data/DevOps/Software Engineer.
- A strong interest in data management (databases systems and ETL processes).
- Programming: A strong SQL and Python knowledge.
- Deployment and Orchestration: Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, etc.).
- Data-Oriented Mindset: you possess a good knowledge of data modeling and data-architecture core concepts.
It is not a requirement, but other preferred qualifications would be:
- DevOps methodologies: Familiar with DevOps practices, automation tools, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Programming Concepts: Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Cloud and Data tools: Experience with a cloud provider or data processing tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, etc.)
- Experience with AI-driven data delivery, including the use of AI capabilities to accelerate, automate, and improve data engineering outcomes.
