Guest Relation Officer

The Guest Relation Officer at Sweett
The Guest Relation Officer will be at the forefront of customer service. He or She will be the one ensuring a pleasant and reliable guest experience. The Guest Relation Officer provides guests with above-and-beyond service to ensure their experience will be worth remembering. The position ensures that guests are happy through daily engagements from the moment they booked the apartment until they leave. The Guest Relation Officer will provide a dedicated service to ensure matching customer’s needs and expectations.
The successful applicant will provide an excellent service, handle all the guest’s requests as well as supervise the arrivals and departures.
About you
- You have a keen eye for detail and care about creating great work.
- You have the ability to take over of issues, solve problems and make effective initiatives.
- You are fluent in French and English, other additional language will by highly valuable.
- You are looking to be part of a team that’s very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences.
- A previous experience in the hospitality world in a plus!
- You are able to work positively and collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of delivery at work.
- You’re flexible and open to lending a hand where needed, working in team motivates you.
- You are available to work during the days and evening, during the week and sometimes on weekends.
- Proactivity is something you know, you’re a customer-oriented person, able to anticipate needs and requests.
What you’ll do
- Direct communication with guest through all reservation process and intermediaries.
- Answer phones and emails, sort out requests, give recommendation to the best show to see and the latest pop-up restaurant to try in the area.
- Liaise with other teams and department to ensure that everything is set and anticipated to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Consciously and continually strive to better his/her skills and increase his/her knowledge.
- Use reporting and monitoring tools with a view to improve operations efficiency.
- Providing excellent customer service as per company standards and consciously work to increase the quality of the stay of the guests.
- Informing customers about payment methods and verifying their data. Collecting information regarding arrivals and special needs requirements. Perform basic cashier activities as and when required.
- Welcome guests during check-in if needed and giving a fond farewell to guest while check-out. Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay or discomfort to any guest.
- Handling all varieties of requests and situations. Effectively react to emergency or complicated situations and coordinate a multi-tasking job.
- Collect guest feedback during guest departure along with his likes and dislikes to work on improvements and maintain up-to-date information.
- Overseeing VIP guests upon their arrival and departure and arrange personalized services for VIP customers. Continuously work to improve the guest experience.
- Handling guests’ complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
