About the Role
For a large-scale IT transformation programme, we are looking for an experienced PMO Officer to support the Program Management Team (PMT) in the implementation of a new back-office system.
The programme is a key pillar of the organization’s IT strategy and aims to simplify the application landscape by replacing multiple legacy systems with a single integrated platform.
You will be part of the Program Management Team, consisting of the Program Manager and the IT Delivery Manager. In addition, you will work closely with Product Owners, the Change Manager, QA Manager, and other key stakeholders within the programme. In total, more than 150 employees across 15 teams contribute to the success of this transformation.
In this role, you are not only a supporting force but also a key driver in the governance, communication, and reporting of the programme.
Responsibilities
Programme management and information management
- Manage, structure, and provide program-related information for various stakeholder groups.
- Support the Program Management Team in monitoring progress and identifying key focus areas.
Planning and reporting
- Assist in maintaining and updating programme and project plans in collaboration with different teams.
- Coordinate periodic programme reporting.
- Act as process owner for governance and reporting processes within the programme.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and decision-making documentation.
Governance and stakeholder management
- Organize and coordinate stakeholder sessions and steering committees.
- Responsible for agendas, documentation, minutes, and follow-up of action points.
- Actively maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Your Profile
- Several years of relevant experience in PMO, project management, or programme management.
- Experience in complex IT projects or transformation programmes is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a structured way of working.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Confluence is a plus.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is an asset.
- Available to work on-site in Brussels 2 days per week.
