KPMG Forensic Advisory is growing, and to support the expansion of the department, we are currently looking for a Consultant to strengthen our enthusiastic team.
KPMG Forensic Advisory assists clients in resolving complex and high-value challenges. We help clients prevent, detect, and respond to fraud, misconduct, and non-compliance, and provide support in resolving disputes. We do this by combining expertise in fraud risk management, investigations, intelligence, economics, accounting, law, and technology with deep industry knowledge.
At KPMG Forensic Advisory, we provide robust, practical advice to help our clients address complex, high-value matters, including:
- Preventing and detecting fraud and financial crime;
- Fraud, misconduct, and corruption investigations;
- Tracing funds, assets, companies, and individuals;
- Commercial or transaction-related disputes;
- Regulatory compliance, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-bribery & Corruption (ABC), sanctions, and embargoes;
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM);
- ESG fraud and integrity matters;
- Managing reputational risks related to buying or selling a business;
- Intellectual property and contract governance (contract compliance).
Within client engagements, you will participate in and support both short- and long-term forensic projects across the public and private sectors. These projects may cover, among others, the following areas of expertise:
Fraud Investigations
- Understand investigation objectives;
- Conduct detailed inquiries and examinations;
- Apply data analytics techniques to support investigative efforts;
- Summarise investigative work and findings in forensic reports;
- Identify appropriate remedial actions to help clients prevent future incidents.
Fraud Risk Management
- Identify fraud and misconduct risks;
- Assess the maturity of anti-fraud and misconduct programs;
- Improve and/or design anti-fraud and misconduct programs;
- Support clients in using data analytics to prevent, detect, and respond to fraud and misconduct.
Regulatory Enforcement & Compliance
- Support organizations in identifying upcoming regulations and establishing compliance programs to ensure adherence to new requirements;
- Use economic arguments, supported by quantitative analysis, to build compelling cases for clients in regulatory disputes, negotiations with regulators, and discussions with antitrust authorities;
- Help organizations prevent, detect, and respond to anti-bribery and corruption concerns.
Contract Compliance
- Support organizations in verifying and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of existing contracts with third parties;
- Support organizations in verifying and ensuring that third parties comply with the terms and conditions of contracts established with our clients.
