Description
This is a full-time assignment with an estimated duration of approximately 10 days, to start as soon as possible.
Part of the assignment may, in consultation with the manager, be carried out remotely, but a minimum of two days per week on-site at Gosselies is mandatory. Additional days on-site may occasionally be requested of the consultant, depending on departmental needs (on an ad hoc basis). As the Gosselies site is not easily accessible by public transport, a driving licence and a car would be preferable for travel.
Context of the assignment
You will be part of the Information Security Office team.
Key tasks:
As part of the migration project to Windows 11, a new system image and several new laptop models must be validated prior to production deployment.
The objective of the penetration test is to assess the security robustness of the Windows image, the associated hardware configurations and the native protection mechanisms (TPM, Secure Boot, BIOS/UEFI hardening, Defender, etc.).
This test aims to provide a level of assurance that the deployed endpoints comply with internal security requirements and limit the risk of privilege escalation, local compromise or the extraction of secrets.
Target machines:
- 1xT16 Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration,
- 1xT16 Windows 11
- 1x Dell Pro 16 Plus Windows 11
Windows 11 image
- System configuration (GPO, baselines, hardening).
- Defender / antivirus / EDR settings.
- Local attack surface (permissions, services, configurations).
- Encryption (BitLocker).
- Boot process (Secure Boot, UEFI Lockdown).
- Versioning and internal packaging.
- Etc…
Hardware
- TPM 2.0 activation and robustness.
- UEFI/BIOS security (passwords, disabling external ports/boot).
- Interface testing (USB, Thunderbolt).
- Verification of BitLocker key erasure mode via hardware events.
- Etc..
Connectivity
- Testing in connected/unconnected mode.
- MDM posture – on-boarded machine (Intune)
Recommended tests
- Security configuration analysis (Windows 11 baseline).
- Escalation testing

- Skilled at drafting summary documents

- Able to summarise and communicate effectively to both the business and a technical team
Votre profil
You have at least 5 years of professional experiences in IT
If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
