As FINANCIAL ANALYST, you support the finance team with the financial follow-up of our R&D, SG&A and Cash activities.
You help collect and check financial information, prepare various reports and presentations and support the budgeting and forecasting processes. In this role, you work closely with controllers, finance colleagues and colleagues from other departments. You will report to the Finance & Cost Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- You collect, check and consolidate financial data.
- You help prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly reports including presentations. Both planned as well as ad hoc
- You monitor costs and help identify differences between actual results and budget.
- You prepare financial overviews and recurring reports for the finance team.
- You support the financial follow-up of R&D projects and support departments.
- You help ensure that costs are correctly recorded and allocated.
- You assist with ad hoc financial analyses and business cases.
- You contribute to improving financial reports, tools and processes.
- You work closely with colleagues across finance and business.
You'll succeed if:
- You hold a master’s degree in finance, economics or a related field.
- You are a recent graduate or have first experience in finance, controlling, audit or accounting.
- You enjoy working with figures and have good analytical skills.
- You work accurately, in a structured way and with attention to detail.
- You are eager to learn and comfortable asking questions.
- You are proactive and enjoy working as part of a team.
- You communicate clearly with colleagues from different departments.
- You have a good knowledge of Excel. Experience with an ERP system or Power BI is an asset.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch.
- You have a keen interest in AI tools such as CoPilot and the usage of them
