We now wish to recruit a Project & Construction Supervisor to support project activities for a client in the food sector. Initially you can work in the offices of our client in Belgium but for the construction part you have to travel on regular basis to Brazil.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering, Project and Construction Supervision.

Our Belgian customer, active in the food sector, will expand (capacity times 3) one of their existing sites in Brazil. To steer this expansion in the right direction (on time and within budget), we are looking for an experienced project & construction supervisor.
Tasks

Coordination of (local) subcontractors

Requesting quotations from suppliers and comparing prices

Helping with engineering; (depending on your knowledge); formatting layouts of the new machines, making IO lists, checking power, ...

Ideally you will have the following:
You can work independently.
You already have experience with project & construction supervision
You already have experience in the food sector. (= must have)
You speak Portuguese. (= must have)
You are multi-technical: mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, ... We are not looking for a technical expert, but a generalist
Start: asap to support the engineering phase of the project
Start construction: January '27
End construction: January '28 (can be extended)
