Your role as an Operations Management Trainee is to establish a solid understanding of the business with the goal of becoming a future leader of the business.
Participate in a two-year Operations Management Development Program, during which multiple assignments will be assigned in the key areas of production, maintenance, quality, R&D and agronomy, in order to gain a thorough and interdisciplinary understanding of the company's processes and ways of working.
Each assignment will last from 6 to 12 months and will consist of a mix of formal training and applied learning experiences in partnership with seasoned experts. The objective will be to actively contribute to Lutosa's operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Observe experienced staff and gain knowledge of the processes, procedures, methods and standards required to take on a leadership role in each of the program's focus areas.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to better understand the company's processes.
- Organize and lead work teams in assigned focus areas, including planning, security, day-to-day operations, and performance management. Duties include decision-making, leadership, and administrative aspects of assigned roles.
- Actively foster and promote good safety work habits, ensuring that safety policies and procedures are properly followed.
- Actively participate in health and safety initiatives, playing a leading role in the quest for zero incidents through safety optimization.

Master in Food Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent

Experience in the food industry is an asset. Familiar with the company's activities and HACCP and ISO standards. Excellent mastery and affinity with computer tools.

Fluency in French and a very good command of English.
