For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior IT System Engineer specialized in Virtualization, Storage and Backup.
The client needs an experienced infrastructure engineer able to manage critical data center environments, ensure high availability, optimize performance, and support business continuity through strong backup and disaster recovery practices.
The role requires minimum 7 years of experience, including 2 years in a senior technical position.
The consultant will be responsible for the daily management, tuning and improvement of virtualization and storage infrastructure.
Main responsibilities include:
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for virtualization and backup platforms.
Design, manage and maintain Nutanix AHV and VMware vSphere environments.
Implement and maintain high-availability and clustering solutions.
Design and operate enterprise backup solutions for virtual servers.
Define and manage backup SLAs, RPO, RTO, retention and restore policies.
Automate virtual server deployments and operational tasks.
Monitor and optimize performance, capacity and storage usage.
Collaborate on Disaster Recovery Plans and participate in DR tests.
Follow up incidents and communicate clearly in case of SLA breach.

Dutch or French: full professional proficiency

Votre profil
You have at least 7 of professional experiences in IT
If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it’s best
