Hotel Amigo is looking for an Assistant Manager Repair & Maintenance. With a hands-on approach, strong organizational skills, and a passion for quality, you will contribute in creating an environment that delivers exceptional service.
Reporting and in consultation with the Engineering Director you will:
Assist in operational leadership to technical staff and coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs
Assist in organising team schedule and the daily distribution of work and tasks
Monitor the activities of the team or work carried out by external contractors
Coordinate team work relating to preventive maintenance and repairs of buildings and installations, including electrical systems, sanitary installations, water supply and heating systems, kitchen and room equipment, air conditioning, buildings, etc
Develop maintenance schedules
Train and familiarizes new employees
Investigate the causes of technical failures, develops repair plans and, where necessary, calls in external technicians
Ensure prompt and effective interview in case of malfunctions
Prepare technical data sheets and writes manuals in consultation
Maintain technical plans, drawings and documentation
Provide recommendations to help keep the maintenance budget under control and advises on the purchase of spare parts, tools and equipment
Oversee stock management; is authorized to make arrangements with suppliers to resolve existing problems or to contact companies to request quotations
