YOUR TASKS
contribute to the recently awarded projects funded by the Energy Transition Fund (ETF), in particular to the research tasks assigned to UGent in the FUSION project
help coordinate with other members of the research team the recently awarded ETF projects on the use of small modular reactors in industrial clusters
contribute to the drafting of additional research proposals linked to the deployment of nuclear technologies for various applications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You hold a Master’s degree in a field related to Nuclear Engineering.
Diploma requirements must be met by the date of appointment.
You have proven experience in programming and simulation tools.
Additional experience with nuclear research and development is an asset.
Experience in project management in national or international context is an asset.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
We offer you a contract of definite duration of 24 months.
Your contract will start on 01/10/2026.
Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4. Click here for more information about our salary scales.
