Sr LABORATORY COORDINATOR in the R&D LABORATORY GROUP
Report to the R&D Laboratory Supervisor
To strengthen our Research and development team (R&D) we are looking for a autonomous and proactive individual to fill the position of: Sr LABORATORY COORDINATOR in the R&D LABORATORY GROUP.
As the Sr LABORATORY COORDINATOR in the R&D LABORATORY GROUP you will play a key role for supporting the routine activities of R&D laboratory to ensure proper facilities, equiment and stock management. For all these activities you will work in collaboration with different internal and external stake holder.
The Research and development team (R&D) lab cover all Process and Analytical methods development aspects of the biologics drug substance manufactured by Prothya Biosolutions and focus on:

Developing new process and improving current process from early and late stage;

Developing new analytical method or new application;

Providing process expertise and analytical method support;

Providing deviation and investigation support through lab-scale experiments and/or analytical testing;

Evaluating new technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Sr LABORATORY COORDINATOR in the R&D LABORATORY GROUP you will be responsible for:

In charge of the good Maintenance and improvement of the current laboratory facilities level with respect to the company vision/strategy and legal EHS rules to support future project development project.

Define and maintain R&D master plans (Maintenance, Calibration, Equipment replacement) to ensure readiness of laboratory.

Ensure proper maintenance, calibration and qualification of laboratory equipment.

In charge of implementation and overseen of 5S in R&D laboratory.

Ensure the proper data management in the R&D laboratory from equipment. In charge of documents related to equipment, facilities, 5S and stock

In charge of the ordering of material and consumable in order to ensure that the laboratory is already ready for all major business activities.

Identified different supplier for material and equipment and compare offer and technical specification

Present and defend CAPEX request at OPS and STEERCO meeting.
PROFIL
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.

3+ years of experience in a similar or comparable position or process development in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.

Strong organizational and task management skills.

Capacity to work autonomously

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and/or Dutch and English.

Proficiency in MS Office tools and other relevant software.

Familiarity with GxP guidelines and SOP writing.

Analytical mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Team player with a solution-oriented approach.

Expertise in lean and 5S approach is an asset
