Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer that would help us in delivering one of Proximus Global’s mission critical solutions.
Responsibilities

Develop new functionalities within a complex system which ensures accuracy and delivery of multi-million $ invoices to some of the larger Web properties in the world – combination of both front-end and back-end development. Our tech stack revolves mostly around Python and SQL, but also includes AWS, Django, Glue/Spark, React, gRPC, Rest, Snowflake...

Help transition from on-premise solution to performant cloud based solution on AWS with modern architecture using contemporary technologies, microservices and containerization

Stay up to date with coding standards and relevant technology development and help choose the best technology for the situation in coordination with the team lead and architect

Use AI coding tools responsibly and judiciously to enhance productivity while ensuring code quality, security, and alignment with engineering standards.

Help safeguard our systems by actively contributing to test automation efforts that improve reliability, detect issues early, and uphold quality standards across the codebase.

Provide direction, guidance and mentoring to less experienced individuals on the team

Work as a member of a scrum team.
Requirements

University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

3+ years of hands-on software development experience with OOP languages (Python, Java, C#...)

3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and relational database development and design

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies is a plus.

Experience with Python is a plus.

Experience with AI coding tools is a plus.

Experience with front-end technologies and platforms, such as React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 is a plus.

Experience with Linux platforms is a plus.

Experience working within an agile team is a plus.

Fluency in English, verbal and written.
